BIO: Michael E, Hammond, often referred to as the “101st Senator” for his role as General Counsel of the conservative Senate Steering Committee, has been involved in the conservative movement since getting his first job in the Senate working for Sen. Jim Buckley (Conervative-NY) in 1974.
From 1974 to 1991, Hammond had a key role in every conservative victory ranging from the enactment of the McClure-Volkmer bill, which secured and protected Second Amendment rights to securing funding for the Solidarity Movement in Poland during the height of the Cold War.
Hammond recently traveled to Poland where he was knighted by the Polish government and traveled to Ukraine to personally see the war through his own eyes.
