With days till the end of the 2025 General Session, the Wyoming Senate, under the leadership of Senate President Bo Biteman, Vice President Tim Salazar, and Majority Floor Leader Tara Nethercott has led the charge for a new, conservative direction in Wyoming. Through a commitment to fiscal discipline, liberty, and family values, the Wyoming Senate has delivered aggressive reductions to property taxes, a school choice bill endorsed by President Donald J. Trump, landmark 2ND Amendment legislation, protecting election integrity, and combating woke ideology in state investments.
President Bo Biteman has emerged as a leading conservative voice by bringing together the entire Senate body under a conservative leadership team and delivering critical legislation to keep Wyoming great!
Here are just some of the amazing accomplishments made by the Wyoming Senate:
SF 69 – Homeowner Property Tax Exemption “Reform” passed the Senate with a veto-proof majority! This bill would be THE largest property tax cut in Wyoming history, accomplished without draining reserve accounts.
HB 199 – Wyoming Freedom Scholarship Act is a Trump-backed universal school choice bill that allows money to follow students wherever the best education outcomes can be achieved. This bill provides parents with the tools to make quality choices for their children’s education regardless of their financial status. This bill is one of THE best in the nation.
SF196 – 2nd Amendment Protection Act where VP Tim Salazar and President Bo Biteman have been tireless champions for unobstructed Second Amendment rights! This bill finishes Senator Salazar’s years-long work to ensure Wyoming has among the best firearm legislation in the country. This bill will ensure that Wyoming citizens are protected from tyrannical federal governments.
SF 190 – Election Transparency where President Biteman has been a leader on election security and integrity for his entire career in public service. Seeing a need for comprehensive election integrity Senator Biteman crafted and passed SF 190 to address all major election integrity challenges in a single bill; paper ballots, allowing for hand counting of ballots & ensuring verification of U.S. Citizenship to vote.
SF 191—State Funds-Proxy Voting & Pecuniary Investments The Wyoming Senate also led the way in combating woke ideology from infecting and damaging Wyoming’s investment accounts. By codifying best practices on proxy voting and investment procedures, President Biteman and this Senate have ensured that Wyoming invests for the best return, not to advance destructive social agendas.

BIO: State Senator Bo Biteman was first elected to the Wyoming House of Representatives in 2016, serving a two year term there before making the move to the Senate in 2018.
He currently serves on the Senate Minerals, Business and Economic Development Committee, the Senate Education Committee, and the Select Federal Natural Resource Management Committee in Wyoming.
BIO: State Senator Tim Salazar was first elected to the Wyoming House of Representatives in 2016 and served on the House Judiciary Committee.
In 2020, Tim was elected to the Wyoming State Senate and currently serves as a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee & the State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) under Wyoming’s Homeland Security. In 2023, he passed the first state legislation in the country that prohibits Chemical Abortion.
